Turkey $ 100 billion goal of targeted trade with Africa  


On the sidelines of the first Startup Gate Summit, held in Tunis on 25 and 26 June, Turkish Ambassador to Tunisia, Ömer Faruk Doğan, said his country aims to strengthen its trade with the African continent to achieve 100 billion dollars, against 20 billion dollars now.   Since 2003, Turkey has worked to strengthen its political and economic relations with Africa, through the implementation of the “strategy for developing trade and economic relations with African countries”.
