As expected, the rating agency Moody’s downgraded the issuer’s long-term foreign currency and local currency rating for Tunisia from B2 to B3 and maintained the negative outlook.
Moody’s points out that “the long process of fiscal consolidation and public sector reform requires consensus with civil society structures on the direction and implementation of a range of measures”.
