Tunisia State of emergency extended until June 2021

The state of emergency in force in Tunisia since a bloody jihadist attack on a presidential guard bus in Tunis in November 2015 has been extended by six months, until June 23, announced the Tunisian presidency. The Head of State, Kais Saied, “has decided to extend the state of emergency for six months throughout the country, from December 26, 2020 until June 23, 2021”, according to a brief press release from the presidency.
