Tourism UNWTO and Google launch online acceleration program
To promote the resumption of tourism in Africa, the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and Google have partnered up in an online acceleration program for tourism ministers from UNWTO member states , the main travel agencies and Tourist Offices. The goal? Further develop skills in innovation and digital transformation. The UNWTO & Google Tourism Acceleration Program focuses on information from South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria. “We are here to help the tourism industry emerge from this unprecedented crisis and grow stronger,” said Doron Avni, director of government affairs and public policy for emerging markets at Google.
