Tech for Good Call from Christchurch to act against terrorism and violent extremism online

The second edition of the Tech for Good Summit will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at the Hôtel de Marigny. This initiative launched by the President of the Republic in 2018 will bring together more than 80 executives from major companies, startups and players in the global digital ecosystem to discuss the contribution of technology to the common good and the collective struggle against digital threats.

On the occasion of the Tech for Good Summit, the President of the Republic, co-chair with Ms. Jacinda ARDERN, Prime Minister of New Zealand, the launching meeting of the call of Christchurch asking officials of large digital companies to act against Terrorism and violent extremism online.

Also attending this meeting will be King Abdallah II of Jordan, Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, Jusuf Kalla, Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, Theresa MAY, Prime Minister of United Kingdom, or Jean-Claude JUNCKER, President of the European Commission. At the end of the meeting, the Head of State and the Prime Minister of New Zealand will hold a joint press conference.
