South Sudan: AfDB to the rescue of agricultural sector
In order to stimulate agriculture, the African Development Bank (AfDB) has just signed an agreement with South Sudan to grant Juba a subsidy of US $ 14 million. This 5-year project aims to improve agricultural markets, added value and the development of trade and agricultural productivity. Note that it will be implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in close collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
