Senegal: Gold and oil boost exports
Exports of goods increased by 67.8 billion CFAF (about 115.260 million $) last November, an increase of 64.7 percent over the previous month, according to information provided by the directorate of forecasts and economic studies (DPEE).
According to the DPEE, “this performance is mainly attributed to non-monetary gold (over $ 61.6 billion), petroleum products ($ 12.4 billion), food products ($ 3.9 billion) and mineral and chemical fertilizers (3.1 billion more)”.
