Sahel: African Development Bank and G5 Sahel Partners Commit to Strengthening Education, Youth Employment and Mitigating Fragility

The Sahel Alliance, which coordinates the development actions of the main partners of the G5 countries (Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Chad) Sahel committed itself, on 15 February 2021, during its second general assembly in N’Djamena, Chad, to strengthen its actions in favour of education, youth, job creation and to support the return of the State in fragile areas.

At the end of this assembly, organised by videoconference and in person, the members of the Alliance also committed themselves to further mobilise the private sector in development actions.
