Rwanda Government reshuffles its COVID-19 guidelines and rules

Following the trends of COVID-19 that were rising from the previous two days, the cabinet of Rwanda has announced the new restrictions that are meant to guide Rwandan citizens in the next three weeks starting from 14th. The cabinet and state leaders have suspended social gatherings, including the well known Umushyikirano, to virtual with the media on 21st. His Excellency will be delivering the state of the nation address in an interactive format with the officials. The movements are prohibited from 9 pm to 4 am starting 15th December to 21st which culminates to 8 pm to 4 am beginning 22nd December to 4th January, this didn’t leave out the social gathering, meetings, and conferences which are asked not to exceed 30% of the venue capacity just the same as offices of public and private institutions as they operate. This upshot into 50% of the bus capacity as the transport sector complies with COVID19 preventative measures.
