The 5th edition of the Rencontres Africa will occur on the 24th and 25th of November with a digital format simultaneously from numerous cities in France and Africa partnering local and significant stakeholders.
Rencontres Africa is back. For the fifth time. The event will virtually occur on the 24th and 25th of November, simultaneously in numerous African and French cities (Casablanca, Cotonou, Dakar, Lomé, Lyon, Marseille, Paris, Tunis…) in partnership with local and significant stakeholders.
“More than ever, the historical moment that countries, companies, and citizens are living, commit SME’s leaders and their partners, mainstays in the continent, in building value and starting reinvention”
This edition will draw on the innovation in this Covid-19 crisis context. “More than ever, the historical moment that countries, companies, and citizens are living, commit SME’s leaders and their partners, mainstays of the continent, in building value and starting reinvention,” Marc Hoffmeister, the President of Classe Export and Chief Commissioner of Rencontres Africa. Initiated back in 2016, under the high patronage of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy, Rencontres Africa reinvents itself for this 5th edition to support and help companies on the African markets, partnering local and regional institutions and private, public and media sectors.
“Rencontres Africa becomes a digital platform dedicated to leaders working on the continent and their issues”
With the deployment and the use of tools for physical and digital events, Rencontres Africa has become a digital platform dedicated to leaders working on the continent and their issues.
Togo is the special guest of this edition, with more than 300 Togolese people registered over the 1000 French and African participants. This edition will be online, using a platform accessible until the 31st of December with the possibility to extend the access for six more months.
“The idea is to allow people who can’t move or hesitate to take a week off for prospection, to participate in the event by giving them the possibility, with digital tools, to enjoy business meetings, make contacts with exhibitors and see conferences. Africa is a land of innovation, and digital will be the leaven of its development.”
