Uganda Toyota invests in the startup Tugende

The Japanese car manufacturer wants to invest 45 million dollars in African mobility in 2021. And it will start with the Ugandan startup Tugende, which provides drivers the possibility to possess a vehicle thanks to a rent-buy system. Once the car is fully paid, after 12 to 24 months, drivers’ daily income rises. The Mobility 54 division of Toyota invests 4 million dollars in this startup.
