Nigeria To promote agriculture, Buhari wants to limit food imports

In a statement dated August 13, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari decided to ask the Nigerian Central Bank to stop funding food imports

In 2015, a law aimed at banning 41 objects and products that could be developed and produced in Nigeria was passed, proof that the country wants to focus on in-house production. Today, food imports are also targeted.
