Morocco The GNP should decrease by 6 or 7%
In 2020, the Moroccan GNP should decrease by 6 to 7%, according to the IMF. Those previsions are due
to the combined effect of the Covid-19 pandemic and drought on the Moroccan economy. The
unemployment should rise, budget and external deficits should grow due to the lack of fiscal income
and losses in the tourism sector. A rebound by 4,5% is expecting in 2021.
