Morocco: The Economic Monitoring Committee (CVE) forecasts a 5.2% growth in 2021

The national economy should record a growth rate of 5.2% this year, i.e. 0.4 points higher than the forecasts of the Finance Law (LF-2021), according to the Economic Monitoring Committee (CVE), which met on 2 April in videoconference mode.

“The favourable prospects for the agricultural campaign and the exemplary conduct of the vaccination operation are factors that will certainly give a new impetus to the growth of the national economy in 2021,” the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Administrative Reform said in a statement following the 12th meeting of the committee.
