Madagascar 42 million dollars form the African Development Bank to develop the energy sector

The African Development Bank has approved a loan of 42,9 million dollars to finance the second phase of a major power transmission and interconnection project in Madagascar. The project includes the construction of a 135 km interconnection line between the capital and the central industrial city of Antsirabé, the feeding of a hydropower plant into the national grid, the electrification of villages, and the increasing of access to clean and low-cost energy.
