Kenya The Kenyan labor force don’t look for a job anymore

According to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), data suggests nearly 1,89 million, or 57.,98%, of the 2,63 million unemployed Kenyans aged between 15 and 64 — and who qualify as labor force — were not actively looking for work in the informal sector because of the lack of opportunities. Mainly for youngsters: the number of youthful Kenyans who had “given up” on employment in the July-September period was slightly lower than 1.58 million or 54,02% according to the same data.
