Kenya EIB and FMO earmark € 106 million for two 80 MW solar projects

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Dutch Development Finance Company (FMO) have just allocated € 106 million to two solar projects developed by a consortium of independent power producers (IPP) in the county of Uasin Gishu, in western Kenya. Two solar projects have just received $ 106 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Dutch Development Finance Corporation (FMO). Funds allocated equally by both development partners will be used to implement Radiant and Eldosol solar projects near Eldoret town in Uasin Gishu County, western Kenya .
