Ghana: UK announces increased investment

The British Minister for Africa has affirmed its government’s desire to increase investment in Ghana and to ensure greater economic harmonization between the two countries. A statement made on the occasion of the second United Kingdom-Ghana Business Council (UKGBC) held at Lancaster House in London on February 26th  (The first meeting of the UKGBC was held in Ghana in the last October latest).

Noting the growth and significant progress made in formalizing and improving the Ghanaian economy in recent years, Harriet Baldwin, along with government officials and UK leaders, is committed to bringing new investments and to increase existing UK investments in Ghana.
