Gabon: Waste treatment plant to open soon in Libreville


Le premier ministre, Julien Nkoghé Bekalé, a annoncé, le 17 juillet lors d’une visite de terrain sur le site de la décharge de Mindoubé, complètement saturé de déchets et à l’origine de la pollution dans une partie de la capitale gabonaise« Nous sommes en train de chercher des financements pour réaliser ce projet important qui va permettre de régler la question du ramassage des ordures dans la ville de Libreville », a assuré le premier ministre.

And it will pass by the displacement of the surrounding populations and the construction of a plant for the recovery of household waste, “said Julien Nkoghé Bekalé during an inspection visit for which he was accompanied by the mayor of Libreville , Léandre Zué, and some of the members of the government, including the Minister of Equipment, Infrastructures and Public Works, Arnaud Calixte Engandji-Alandji, and his colleague delegate to the Minister of the Interior, Arsène Édouard Nkoghe. “We are looking for funding to carry out this important project that will solve the problem of garbage collection in the city of Libreville,” said the prime minister.
