Covid-19 IATA announces collective loss of $ 400 million in 2020
On the sidelines of the recent Avia Africa summit on March 4 in Addis Ababa, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) said that African companies should collectively lose about $ 400 million due to what was so far an epidemic. But given the scale of the spread in recent weeks, the institution is now counting on greater losses.
“In just over two months, the outlook for the industry in much of the world has become dramatic,” said IATA. Globally, losses range from $ 63 billion to $ 113 billion.
