Ivory Coast Inauguration of the Vridi Canal “expanded and deeper”
Ivory Coast inaugurates on February 21st the Vridi canal “expanded and deepened”. After three works done by China Harbor Engineering Company, the capacity of the canal has increased from 3,500 to 10,000 containers.
Pending the delivery of the new terminal by Bollore, more than 1,000 billion CFA francs, or one and a half billion euros, were mobilized for works, 85% financed by the State via a loan from China Exim Bank.
