Cooperation Decline of public aid to Africa by 4% in 2018
According to the figures of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) presented on April 10, during a press conference held at the headquarters of the institution in Paris, the bilateral public aid granted to Africa, the order of $ 29.7 billion decreased by 4% in 2018.
Total official development assistance (ODA) to countries and international agencies totaled $ 149.3 billion, down 2.7% from 2017.
With $ 12.5 billion (+ 4.4%), France remains the fifth largest donor country.
