Cameroon: Société Générale opens Douala SME House



After Senegal, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso, Societe Generale is opening this time a House of SMEs in Cameroon. The new support center for small and medium-sized enterprises, inaugurated on 18 July, is located in Douala.
The initiative, which is part of the “Grow With Africa” ​​strategy, aims to support African SMEs and promote entrepreneurship, through a platform for exchanges, monitoring, advice and financing, bringing together different actors. involved in the financing of companies (investors, accountants, bankers, agents of the State and entrepreneurs, etc.).
The structure, present in twenty countries on the continent, counts through this program, rely on four regional directorates based in Abidjan, Douala, Algiers and Casablanca to roll out its roadmap.
Societe Generale, whose African SMEs make up 2/3 of the Enterprise customers, intends to contribute to the growth of the latter by facilitating access to financing.
