Burkina Faso’s macroeconomic situation remains stable, said Abebe Aemro Selassie, director of the Africa Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), according to an official statement. “We note a growth rate of around 6% this year and the macroeconomic situation remains stable,” said Abebe Aemro Selassie after a hearing on December 5 with Burkinabe President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, according to the same statement. “I had very interesting discussions with President Kaboré and discussed Burkina Faso’s programs and priorities,” he added.
