Burkina Faso 9 billion FCFA for a sanitation project in the capital

The Burkinabè government has initialed a loan agreement in the amount of CFAF 9 billion with the European Investment Bank for a sanitation and drainage project in Ouagadougou (Pado), announces a statement from the Council of Ministers of December 23, 2020 . This funding will allow the construction of drainage and rainwater evacuation in the district of Tanghin, northern locality of the capital, Ouagadougou. It will also be devoted to “the realization of sustainable developments and the enhancement of the banks”, indicates the document.
