Lomé postponed indefinitely the Ministerial Conference of the Francophonie

The Togolese government in a public statement made earlier this week has announced the postponement of the Ministerial Conference of the Francophonie originally scheduled to be held on November 24th , 25th  and 26th .

The Togolese government has said it will take more time to “afford every means necessary to better prepare for this high-level international meeting”. Tensions within the Togolese capital are probably not foreign to this report.
