Morocco Engineers discuss their future in Tangier

On March 8th and 9th, Tangier will host the forum: “Morocco as a platform of investments and intercontinental discussions: a broad prospect for the engineer”. An initiative carried out, for the 12th consecutive year, by the students of the National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier (Ensat) and which could be a platform of discussions between the future engineers and the business environment.

It has become a usual appointment. Every year, the future engineers and business players meet in Tangier to talk about the economy, the market, and the future, an initiative carried by the students of the National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier (Ensat). This public school, created in 1998, in partnership with the INSA of Lyon and the faculty of sciences and techniques of Tangier (FSTT), the National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier (ENSAT), trains engineers and is slated to be that of the “elite of its network” according to its promoters. With another approach: open its students to the professional environment and, through several conventions, with international institutes and universities.

“A privileged platform of meetings and discussions that, for two days, will allow the future winners to access the professional environment”

The Ensat-Entreprises Forum clearly fit with this context, and aims to bring the future engineers closer to the job market. “As a real springboard for professional integration, the ENSAT Entreprises forum is an important event that brings together some twenty companies from all sectors of activity and a hundred students each year,” the press release recalls. It is a privileged space of meetings and discussions which, during two days, will allow the future winners to access the professional environment.”

“An awareness of the leading role the Moroccan engineer plays in the country’s strategic plan for balanced development and sustainable growth”

And for its next, and 12th edition, the theme “Morocco as a platform of investments and intercontinental discussions: a broad prospect for the engineer” reflects the ambition of the Institution. “The choice of such a theme comes from an awareness of the leading role of the Moroccan engineer in the strategic plan that leads the country towards balanced development and sustainable growth,” said the organizers. Organized on March 8-9, at the heart of the Ensat, in Tangier, the forum will host a few personalities such as Abdeslam Seddiki, Minister of Employment and Social Affairs of Morocco, Nacer Kettani, CTO Microsoft Mena and Hamid Bouchikhi, Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at ESSEC.
